The annual Chatham Cruise-In automotive shows are sponsored by the Virginia-Carolina Chevy Car Club. The event has attracted as many as 700 classic cars in the downtown area of Chatham where Main Street is blocked & becomes a pleasant promenade for all who enjoy viewing beautiful automobiles.

The Cruise-In events are held on the 4th Saturday of each month from April through September. The Cruise-In uses a portion of Main Street for the show. The show area starts at Hargrave Boulevard and Main Street. The show area ends at the stop light at Depot Street/Route 57 and Main Street.

The event starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at approximately 8:00 p.m. The success of a monthly cruise-in is dependent on daylight & weather conditions. There are no rain dates if weather cancels. Admission is free!

Restaurants and shops are open at the discretion of business owners. Restrooms are located on the south side of the Chatham Town Hall located at the end of Court Street. Court Street accesses Main St. near the Pittsylvania Circuit Court (Court House). Portable restrooms may be available in other locations.
